Nestled in the heart of Penola and surrounded by Coonawarra vineyards, The Royal Oak Hotel invites guests to an evening of indulgence with The Art of Wagyu: a four-course dinner celebrating the world-renowned wagyu of Mayura Station.

This intimate experience highlights the best of the Limestone Coast – a destination known for its rich soils, premium vineyards and food culture – and will pair the exceptional flavour and texture of South Australian wagyu with top Coonawarra wines. 

Set within the Royal Oak’s warm and historic dining room, this event is an ode to craftsmanship, from the paddock to the plate and the vineyard to the glass, where every element tells the story of the land we call home.

ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION –

  • Accessible parking and drop off: While no designated accessible parking space are available onsite, ticket holders can utilise the Royal Oak’s large gravel carpark. Alternatively, nearest accessible parking spaces and drop-off zones can be located on the side street behind the hotel. 
  • Wheelchair access: Wheelchair access is only available via the gaming room.
  • Quiet Space: While no designated quiet zone is available, the beer garden can be utilised by event attendees.  
  • Assistance animal facilities: Water bowl is available for assistance animals on request.
