What makes a special drink even better? The perfect snack. This fresh series features both, as curated by stars from Australian bars and restaurants known for their inspired selections. It’s akin to being in their venues – illuminating their story, their style. Spend an hour relaxing in our Drinks Academy, the perfect prelude to a Good Neighbour experience or city night out. Welcome to eating and drinking at its convivial best.

Coonawarra comes to the city in a seasonal offering from Ottelia. Front-of-house star Matilda Innes will be joined by her chef partner Paul Stone, sharing wine and snacks from their family’s acclaimed label and restaurant.  

The country life beckoned for this hospo duo after a stint in Melbourne, where Stone cooked in restaurants including Supernormal and Luxembourg. Innes grew up on the Limestone Coast, with her father John working as a winemaker and consultant across its six sub-regions before launching his own brand with wife Melissa. Ottelia wines are made with fruit from distinguished district sites, while in the kitchen Stone uses garden-fresh fare in hearty dishes that speak to their lush surrounds.
